Chillus Supports
OCEANE
Backing Australia's next Formula 1 contender, from go-karts to the grid.
The driver
CHASING FORMULA 1
Oceane Colangelo started racing at age eight. Since then she has won more than 55 trophies, stood on 130 podiums, taken 40 wins and set 40 fastest laps, competing almost entirely against male racers at state title level, and earning their respect along the way. She is now working toward international open-wheel racing, including Italy's FIA Formula 4 series, with her sights set on becoming the first full season female Formula 1 driver.
"Her fastest three laps were identical to the hundredth of a second. That's when it clicked."
How we got involved
FROM A TRAILER TO A CAREER
Oceane came into our world through her dad Danny, a mate of ours. We loaned her the money for her first go kart trailer. The moment it clicked was at a testing day in Adelaide. Twelve laps in, after warm ups and a handful of flat out runs, her three fastest times came back identical, down to the hundredth of a second. Danny barely blinked. For him, that's just Oceane on an ordinary day. For us, seeing that turned a loan into a sponsorship.
A female succeeding in a male dominated sport. Motorsport hasn't made it easy for someone like her to break through, and that's exactly why we wanted in. She's out there earning every result against the odds, and we think that deserves backing.
As Oceane's progressed, the budget her racing needs has outstretched what we can afford, and we're not able to give as much as we'd like. But we're proud to have been there from the start, and grateful others with deeper pockets have stepped up alongside us. Oceane deserves every bit of that support, and more.
Chillus is committed to Oceane for her whole career. Right now, Sept 2026, she's competing in her debut weekend of FIA Formula 4 in Italy. From a go kart trailer to this. We're not going anywhere.
